"The world spins. We stumble on. It is enough."

...so writes Colum McCann, author of the book I just finished: Let The Great World Spin.

Identifying favorite books is a tough one for me, but this book has certainly hit my tops (along with The Red Tent, The Power of One, Walk Two Moons, and The Complete Tales of Winnie The Pooh...)


I am still in that post-wonderful-book-completion haze where I can think of nothing articulate besides how incredible it was.... suffice it to say the book was a beautifully written compilation of beautiful characters and stories. This is the only word that comes to mind while I am in this dreamy state right now - beautiful. Don't even pursue a summary - just read it.


Also, the past two days have been good. I am caught up in school right now, was able to finish this book.


Most importantly, I have been... wait for it...

! ! ! H A P P Y ! ! !

Hopefully the week will continue in this tone! It is a welcome, welcome change.


For now, though, I will go to bed and sleeep... I'll post some pictures from Ogunquit another day.
